Sharing Overview

PraticOS allows you to share Service Orders with your customers through magic links. Customers can view details, approve quotes, and comment - all without creating an account or logging in.

Secure Access

Each link is unique, temporary, and can be revoked at any time. The customer only accesses the shared SO, with permissions controlled by you.

How to Share an SO

Sharing a Service Order is simple and can be done in several ways.

Tip: Direct WhatsApp

If the customer has a registered phone number, the WhatsApp button opens the conversation with the link and personalized message ready to send.

Step by Step

  1. Open the Service Order you want to share
  2. Tap the Share button in the top right corner
  3. The link will be generated automatically
  4. Choose how to send: WhatsApp, Share, or Copy Link

Link Permissions

You control what the customer can do when accessing the link. By default, all permissions are enabled.

View

See SO details, list of services, products, and total values.

Approve

Approve or reject the quote. When rejecting, can include a reason.

Comment

Send comments and questions directly on the SO.

Customizing Permissions

  1. On the sharing screen, tap Advanced Options
  2. Enable or disable each permission as needed
  3. Changes are applied to the next generated link

Link Validity

Share links have configurable validity to ensure security.

Expired Link

When the link expires, the customer sees a message informing that access is no longer available. You can generate a new link at any time.

Validity Options

  • 7 days: Default - ideal for simple quotes
  • 14 days: For services that need more analysis time
  • 30 days: For larger projects or customers who take time to decide

Access Tracking

The system automatically records when the customer accesses the shared link.

Views

Number of times the link was accessed

Last Access

Date and time of last customer view

Status

Whether it was approved, rejected, or still pending

Revoke Access

You can remove customer access at any time, even before the link expires.

Irreversible Action

When revoked, the customer loses access instantly. If needed, you can generate a new link afterward.

How to Revoke

  1. Open the SO and tap Share
  2. Scroll to the bottom and tap Revoke Link
  3. Confirm the action in the dialog that appears
  4. The link stops working immediately

Notifications

Your team receives push notifications when the customer interacts with the shared SO.

Quick Response

Notifications allow you to respond quickly to the customer, improving the experience and speeding up approvals.

You Will Be Notified When

  • Approval: Customer approved the quote through the link
  • Rejection: Customer rejected the quote (with reason, if provided)
  • Comment: Customer sent a new comment or question

Customer Rating

When the SO is completed, the customer can rate the service directly through the shared link.

View All Ratings

In the app, go to Settings > Ratings to see overall average, total ratings, and complete list with comments.

Optional Comment

Customer can leave detailed feedback (up to 500 characters)

Once Only

Each SO can only be rated once by the customer

How It Works

  1. SO is marked as Completed by the technician
  2. Customer accesses the share link
  3. Rating section appears automatically
  4. Customer selects 1 to 5 stars and optionally comments
  5. You receive a push notification of the new rating

Frequently Asked Questions

Does the customer need to create an account to access?

No. The magic link allows direct access without registration or login. Just click the link.

Can I share the same SO multiple times?

Yes. If a valid link already exists, it will be reused. You can also revoke and create a new link whenever you want.

What happens when the customer approves?

The SO automatically changes to Approved status, a comment is added to the history, and your team receives a notification.

Can I see the customer's comments?

Yes. Comments appear in the SO history, identified as coming from the share link.

Does the link work on computer and mobile?

Yes. The page automatically adapts to the customer's device (responsive).

How do I know if the customer viewed it?

On the sharing screen you see the view counter and the date of last access.
