How it works
Charge the customer on a work order by Pix, boleto or card through your Asaas account. The customer gets a link to pay and, once the payment is confirmed, it goes into the order on its own. The money lands straight in your Asaas account.
- Pix, boleto or card
- Paying in full, the customer picks how to pay on the Asaas invoice.
- Card installments
- From 2 to 12 installments, with the number picked by you.
- Settles on its own
- The confirmed payment goes into the order and you get a phone alert.
Connect your Asaas account
You connect once, with the API key of your Asaas account.
Create the key in Asaas
- Log in to the Asaas dashboard with your account.
- Open Integrações → Chaves de API (Integrations → API keys).
- Create a new key and copy it.
Connect in PraticOS
- In the app, tap the profile button at the top of Home and go to Advanced → Integrations.
- Under Payments, tap Asaas.
- Paste the key into API key and tap Connect.
- Done: the app shows the account and the environment, Test or Production.
Charge the customer
The payment link comes from the order’s Receive screen. Quotes and canceled orders can’t be charged.
-
Awaiting payment
Link sent, waiting for the customer to pay.
-
Overdue
Past the due date without payment. Send a new link.
-
Paid
Payment confirmed by Asaas and recorded on the order.
Send the payment link
- On the order, tap Left to receive (or the blue Receive button, once the order is ready).
- Tap Send (customer) a link to pay.
- In Payment link, check the Amount. It starts with what’s left on the order and can be lower (to charge a down payment), but never higher.
- If needed, change the Due date and pick Split on the card (2x to 12x). Without splitting, the customer picks Pix, boleto or card.
- If the customer has no CPF or CNPJ on file, enter it now. Asaas requires it, and it’s saved on the customer’s record.
- Tap the ✓ and send the link to the customer.
From Financial and from the customer
On the Financial tab, Send payment request to (customer) creates the link (or reuses the open one) and opens sending right away. In Receive from (customer), opened from Financial or the customer screen, Send payment link… puts several orders from the same customer into one link.
Down payment and the rest
Example: charge R$ 300 up front by Pix. Once it’s paid, send another link for the remaining R$ 700 in 3 card installments.
How the customer pays
The customer pays on the Asaas invoice, opened from the link you sent or from the order link.
Step by step
- You send the link on WhatsApp or another way.
- The customer opens the order link and sees the Pay button with the amount.
- The button opens the Asaas invoice, where they pay.
- Back on the order link, it shows as paid.
Until the customer pays, the Receive screen shows when the link was sent and how long it lasts. Tap Also remind on WhatsApp to send it again.
If the link expires, the order page shows the charge is overdue and tells the customer to contact you. Send a new link from the order.
Payment on the order
When Asaas confirms the payment, PraticOS records it on the order and updates what’s left to receive, without you typing anything.
What happens
- Payment confirmed
- Shows on the order as Pix via link, Boleto via link or Card via link.
- Installments
- Each confirmed installment is recorded as a payment.
- Alert
- You get a payment received notification on your phone.
- Got paid another way
- If the customer paid in cash, tap I got paid another way and record it. The link is adjusted or canceled, so nobody pays twice.
- Refund
- If you refund the charge in the Asaas dashboard, the payment comes off the order and the amount is owed again.
If someone works with you
Working alone, you do everything. With a team, connecting the account and charging depend on each person’s role.
| Role | Connect the Asaas account | Charge on the order |
|---|---|---|
| Administrator | Yes | Yes |
| Manager | No | Yes |
| Supervisor | No | No |
| Consultant | No | No |
| Technician | No | No |
You, as the account owner, can do everything.
FAQ
Does PraticOS take a fee on payments?
No. Only your Asaas account fees apply, charged by Asaas itself.
Do I need an Asaas account?
Yes. Charges use your Asaas account, and the money lands there.
Does the customer choose the number of installments?
No. You pick 2 to 12 installments when creating the link.
What if I disconnect the account?
Open links stay in Asaas, but payments stop going into the order on their own. Record them by hand or cancel the charges in the Asaas dashboard.
I don’t see the Asaas option in the app. What now?
Asaas charges are turned on per account, and only show for people who can manage Integrations. Contact support to join.
