ChatGPT and Claude

Connect PraticOS to the AI assistant you already use to look up and update your work orders by chatting, without opening the app.

What the integration does

Once connected to ChatGPT or Claude, PraticOS becomes a data source for the assistant. Ask in plain words, like “which quotes are stuck?” or “how much came in this month?”, and ask for actions, like opening a work order or marking one complete, without opening the app.

Look things up
Today’s summary, pending orders, billing and the details of an order.
Take action
Create orders, change status, add a service or product, comment, attach photos and add customers.
One account per connection
Each URL only reaches the data of the account that created it. Every change the assistant makes is logged in PraticOS.

Create the connection

The connection is a URL created in the app. You paste it once into ChatGPT or Claude and you’re set.

  1. In the app, tap the profile button at the top of Home and go to Advanced → Integrations.
  2. Tap + (New connection) and give it a name, for example “My ChatGPT”.
  3. Tap Save.
  4. The URL appears on screen only once. Tap Copy URL and paste it into the assistant right away.

Add it to ChatGPT

ChatGPT accepts outside services as custom connectors.

  1. Generate the connection URL in PraticOS (previous section) and copy it.
  2. In ChatGPT’s connector settings, add a custom connector.
  3. Paste the URL into the connector address field and confirm.
  4. In a chat, turn on the PraticOS connector so the assistant can use it.

Add it to Claude

Claude also accepts outside services as custom connectors.

  1. Generate the connection URL in PraticOS (previous section) and copy it.
  2. In Claude’s connector settings, add a custom connector.
  3. Paste the URL into the connector address field and confirm.
  4. In a chat, turn on the PraticOS connector so the assistant can use it.

What the assistant can do

With the connector on, the assistant looks up and changes your data when you ask. Ask the way you’d ask someone who works with you.

Work orders
Find and list orders, see details and photos, create orders, approve, start, complete or cancel them, add services and products, comment, attach and delete photos.
Summary and billing
Today’s summary, pending orders and billing for a period.
Records
Find and add customers, equipment, services and products.

Order card

In assistants that support it, some answers about an order come with a card: cover photo (when there is one), equipment, customer, services, products and total. The card follows the chat’s light or dark theme. In other assistants, the same information comes as text.

Card buttons

Share
Opens the device’s share sheet with the order summary and link. If the sheet isn’t available, it offers WhatsApp, Telegram or copying the link.
Open in PraticOS
Opens the order’s web page. It doesn’t open the installed app yet.
Approve and Complete order
Both ask for confirmation before changing the status.

FAQ

How long does a connection last?

90 days from creation. After that, create another one in Settings → Advanced → Integrations and replace the URL in the assistant.

Can I turn it off sooner?

Yes. In Settings → Advanced → Integrations, tap the connection and Turn off connection. Whoever is using that URL loses access right away.

I lost the URL. Can I see it again?

No. It only shows when you create the connection. Turn off the old one and create a new one.

How do I know whether a connection is in use?

The list in Settings → Advanced → Integrations shows the last time each connection was used.

Does the assistant see my customers’ phone numbers?

Answers about orders and customers, and the order card, don’t include the customer’s phone. If you give a phone number while adding a customer in the chat, it is saved in PraticOS.
