Temporary QR Code
The QR Code expires in 15 minutes for security. If it expires, simply generate a new one by tapping "Try Again".
Step by Step
- Open the PraticOS app and go to Settings
- Tap Link WhatsApp
- A QR Code will be displayed on screen
- Open your phone's camera and scan the QR Code
- WhatsApp will open automatically with a ready message
- Send the message to confirm the link
- Done! Your WhatsApp is now linked
Message Sent
When you share an SO via WhatsApp, the customer receives a personalized message with a link to view the details.
Message Example
"Hi John! Here is the link to track your SO #42 from Carlos Workshop: https://praticos.web.app/q/... Through this link you can view details and approve the quote."
Customer Name
The message includes the customer's name for personalization.
SO Number
Clear identification of the shared service order.
Magic Link
Unique link that allows viewing, approval, and comments.
Unlink WhatsApp
You can remove the WhatsApp link at any time.
Notifications Stopped
When you unlink, you will stop receiving WhatsApp notifications. You can link again whenever you want.
How to Unlink
- Go to Settings in the app
- Tap Linked WhatsApp
- Tap Unlink
- Confirm the action in the dialog that appears
Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need to have the WhatsApp app installed?
Yes. To link and receive notifications, you need WhatsApp installed on the same device you use PraticOS.
Can I link more than one WhatsApp number?
Currently, each user can link only one WhatsApp number. If you need to change, unlink the current one and link the new one.
Does the customer need a PraticOS account?
No. The customer receives a magic link that allows them to view the SO, approve, and comment without creating an account.
How long does it take to link?
The process is instant. Just scan the QR Code and send the message - your WhatsApp will be linked in seconds.
Is my data secure?
Yes. The linking uses temporary and encrypted tokens. Only you can link your number to your account.
Can I share SO even without linking?
Yes! Linking is for receiving notifications. WhatsApp sharing works independently.
